Pattarapol Pengwat is a doctoral researcher in the Department of Philosophy, Faculty of Arts, University of Delhi. He holds a Master of Arts in Philosophy from Chiang Mai University, Thailand, where his dissertation examined Jean-Paul Sartre’s concept of human existence within the Blade Runner franchise.

Currently pursuing his Ph.D. under the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) Scholarship, his research focuses on “4E Cognition and Posthumanism: An Ontological Analyses,” aiming to develop a multidisciplinary philosophical framework that critically examines posthumanist ontologies emerging from technological innovation and science fiction cinema.

His academic interests include philosophy of technology, phenomenology, existentialism, philosophy of film, posthumanism, transhumanism, continental philosophy, decolonial thought, and 4E cognition. He has published research in peer-reviewed journals on embodied and extended cognition and has presented at international conferences, including work on posthuman identity and artificial memory in cinematic narratives.

Committed to advancing contemporary philosophical inquiry, he seeks to contribute to global academic discourse through interdisciplinary research bridging philosophy, technology, and culture.
