Amor Taboh is a Guest Faculty in the Department of Geography at Jawaharlal Nehru College, Pasighat. He holds an M.Phil. and M.A. in Geography from Rajiv Gandhi University, Itanagar, and has qualified both UGC NET (2018) and SLET (2016).
With several years of teaching experience at both school and college levels, he has been actively engaged in academic instruction, student mentoring, and field-based geographical research. His research interests focus on river basin studies, land resource utilization, indigenous practices, environmental sustainability, and socio-economic aspects of the Siang region of Arunachal Pradesh.
He has published research papers on agricultural practices, forest resource dependency, and indigenous fishing methods in the Siang Basin. In addition, he has served as a Master Trainer for the Annual Status of Education Report (ASER) India and has participated in various national and international seminars and workshops related to climate change, border studies, research methodology, and regional development.
Committed to academic excellence and regional research advancement, he aims to contribute meaningfully to geographical studies, sustainable development discourse, and higher education in Northeast India.
