Dr. Manjula Karmakar is a Civil Engineering academic and structural engineering specialist with expertise in sustainable construction materials and structural analysis. She completed her Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Adamas University, Kolkata, following her M.Tech in Structural Engineering, where she secured top academic distinction.
Her research interests focus on eco-friendly construction technologies, geopolymer concrete, fly ash-based sustainable materials, and structural performance analysis. She has published research on fly ash-based rubberized geopolymer concrete in peer-reviewed journals and has forthcoming SCI/Scopus-indexed research contributions. Her scholarly engagement also includes participation in national-level symposiums on waste management and resource circulation.
Dr. Karmakar has served as an Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering at Arunachal University of Studies (2022–2024), where she contributed to teaching, mentoring, and academic development. Skilled in structural design tools such as STAAD Pro and AutoCAD (2D & 3D), she integrates technical proficiency with research-driven academic instruction.
