Dr. Rupinder Kaur Sharma is an academic professional in Hotel Management and Tourism, currently working as Associate Professor and Head of Department (Academic), School of Hotel Management & Tourism at Desh Bhagat University, Mandi Gobindgarh, Punjab. She holds a Ph.D. in Hotel Management from Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Mullana (Ambala), with her doctoral research titled “Impact of Regional Cuisine on Tourist Gastronomic Satisfaction – Empirical Study on Local Places of Haryana.”
She has extensive teaching and administrative experience, having served as HOD and Assistant Professor at multiple reputed institutions including RPETGI Karnal, Ganpati Institute of Hotel Management, D.A.V College for Girls (Yamuna Nagar), and Kurukshetra University.
