Dr. Pranati Pati is a scholar of English Literature with a Ph.D. from Sambalpur University (2022). Her academic journey reflects sustained engagement with literary studies, particularly in postcolonial literature, diaspora narratives, identity studies, and cross-cultural discourse.
Her doctoral and seminar research has explored themes such as immigrant identity, cross-cultural conflicts in the novels of Bharati Mukherjee, and identity crisis in the works of Jhumpa Lahiri. She has presented scholarly papers at academic seminars and has published research articles in peer-reviewed journals, including Rock Pebbles and Sambodhi.
With over a decade of teaching experience across undergraduate and higher secondary institutions, including N.A.C. College Burla, VSSUT Burla, G.M. University, and Sambalpur Higher Secondary School, she has consistently contributed to academic instruction and student mentorship. Currently serving as a Lecturer at Virat Higher Secondary School, she combines literary scholarship with classroom pedagogy.
