Dr. Gaurav Kumar is an academic professional with a Ph.D. from K.L. University (Andhra Pradesh, 2025). He has multidisciplinary academic qualifications including MBA in Rural Management, M.Com, and a Diploma in Retail & Sales Management from FDDI, Noida (Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Govt. of India). He is currently working as an Assistant Professor at P P Savani University, Surat, Gujarat (from 30 December – Present). He also worked as Assistant Professor at Sandip University, Bihar (29 September 2023 – 26 December 2025) and previously at Guru Nanak Khalsa College (Community College under UGC Scheme), Yamuna Nagar, Haryana (1 September 2015 – 13 February 2019). Dr. Kumar has served as a Resource Person in an online workshop organized by Trinity Educational Trust, Chennai (24–26 February 2025), where he delivered a session on “AI and Art: How to Teach the Next Generation of Digital Artists.” He has published multiple research papers in Scopus-indexed and Web of Science journals focusing on financial management, SME performance, Islamic banking, liquidity risk, financial modeling, fintech, and MSMEs. He has also received Certificates of Excellence in Reviewing from various international journals and holds a patent titled “Analysis of how financial sector impacts growth of Indian economy.”
