Tarian Nabam Katung is a Ph.D. Scholar at Himalayan University, Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh. He holds an M.Sc. in Agriculture (Agronomy) and is currently serving as an Agriculture Development Officer (ADO) in the Department of Agriculture, Government of Arunachal Pradesh. His doctoral research focuses on the effect of organic and inorganic fertilizer application on the production, productivity, quality, and biochemical properties of hybrid maize (Zea mays L.) under Papum Pare conditions.
He has contributed to academic publications in the field of agronomy, including research on sowing dates and organic nutrient management in hybrid maize. His academic interests center around crop production, nutrient management, sustainable agriculture practices, and agronomic research methodologies. Actively engaged in research and field-based agricultural development, he aims to contribute to sustainable farming systems and evidence-based agricultural advancements.
