Dr. Kumar Anubhav is an Assistant Professor in the area of Entrepreneurship & Strategy at Manipal University Jaipur. He teaches Entrepreneurship, Design Thinking, Strategy, and Business Analytics and is actively involved in teaching, research, and executive training in entrepreneurship, business model innovation, and human-technology interaction. Prior to joining academia, he gained substantial industry experience in project and planning engineering roles at Praj Industries Ltd., Nuberg Engineering Ltd., and The Anup Engineering Ltd. (2015–2019). His doctoral work at the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India focused on “Leveraging Business Model Innovation in Startups: Factors Influencing New Product Development Performance,” examining how business model innovation and related strategic factors drive new product development performance among Indian startups. He was awarded the Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) in May 2025. During his doctoral journey, he was closely associated with the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) – India Team and continues to serve as a highly rated resource person for international executive training programs sponsored by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India (ITEC Division). He specializes in experiential entrepreneurship education and case-based teaching, following the “Stimulate, Educate, and Incubate” approach. He holds a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, an M.Tech in Plastic Engineering, and an MBA in Business Analytics. His research has been published in ABDC-B and ABDC-C category journals, and he contributes to sponsored research and policy initiatives, mentors student entrepreneurs, supports postgraduate education, collaborates with doctoral students, and serves as a reviewer for ABDC-listed journals such as the Journal of Cleaner Production, The International Journal of Management Education, and the Journal of Entrepreneurship.
