Dr. Ankita Pathak is an academician with experience in business and management education, focusing on human resources, marketing, labour law, corporate governance, digital marketing, green marketing, financial behavior and technology-enabled learning. She holds a PhD from Pacific University, Udaipur on “Impact of glass ceiling syndrome on women career advancement”, along with an MBA in HR & Marketing, a PG Diploma in Labour Law, a Diploma in International Business (DIB) and a BBM in Business Management.
She has worked with multiple higher education institutions including GLA University (Institute of Business Management, Mathura), Marwadi University (Rajkot), Sanjivani College of Engineering (Department of MBA, an autonomous NAAC-A institute), Pacific Institute of Business Studies and Maharana Pratap College. Across these roles she has handled portfolios such as NBA coordination, participation in NBA and NAAC audits, formation of course structure and credit distribution as per AICTE, course and structure mapping with credits, departmental exam coordination, coordination with foreign colleges for MoUs and collaborations, tracking faculty publications and external participation, maintaining records of FDPs/STTPs/MDPs organized and attended, student feedback coordination and working as women cell coordinator for the Faculty of Management Studies.
Her research and publication record spans corporate governance and sustainability, training effectiveness in the pharma sector, green marketing, emotional maturity and employer satisfaction, MOOCs effectiveness, work culture and employee satisfaction, consumer behavior in mobile banking, mutual funds and mobile banking, product placement, demonetization, electronic payments, AI tools like ChatGPT in research and writing, and issues around glass ceiling, gender discrimination and women’s career advancement. She has published in Scopus, ESCI, WoS indexed and UGC-approved journals, contributed book chapters and authored a book on glass ceiling and women’s career advancement.
Dr. Pathak has completed multiple MOOCs and online certifications in human resource management, marketing analytics, machine learning for business professionals, digital marketing and content marketing from platforms such as NPTEL, Coursera, Google Cloud, Google Digital Unlocked, Udemy, UCDAVIS and Globsyn Business School. She has also participated in numerous faculty development programmes, short-term training programmes, webinars, workshops and conferences on topics including research analysis and evaluation techniques, pedagogy and case methodology, stress and health issues due to COVID-19, outcome-based education, HR analytics, curriculum design, manuscript writing and patenting for innovation.
She is actively involved in academic publishing as Editor-in-Chief, Editor and Reviewer for several journals in business, management and accounts, and human resources, and serves as reviewer for additional journals.
