Dr. Deepak Kem is an academic and researcher specializing in sociology, media studies, communication, and digital education with a focus on marginalized communities. He currently serves as Associate Professor at the Dr. KRN Centre for Dalit and Minority Studies, JamiaMilliaIslamia, New Delhi, where he also holds additional charge as Coordinator. Over two decades of teaching and research, he has worked across positions from Lecturer (2002) to Reader (2007–2010), and Associate Professor (2010–present) at Jamia Millia Islamia.
His teaching areas include Sociology of Communication, Media Studies, Research Methodology, and Media and the Marginalised.
