Dr. Vardah Saghir is an academic and researcher specializing in finance and management with over 10 years of teaching and research experience. She currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management at the School of Management and Business Studies, Jamia Hamdard University, New Delhi, a position she has held since January 13, 2022. Her academic expertise includes corporate finance, financial institutions, financial services, entrepreneurship, economics, business environment, and accountancy. Dr. Saghir holds a Ph.D. in Finance from Jamia Millia Islamia, with a doctoral thesis titled “An Analytical Study of Microfinance Institutions in Selected Districts of Uttar Pradesh.” She also qualified the UGC NET-JRF in 2012. Dr. Saghir actively contributes to research supervision and academic mentorship. She has supervised and co-supervised Ph.D. scholars and serves on the Student Research Advisory Committee. She teaches research methodology and contemporary finance topics to doctoral scholars and mentors students in dissertation projects and internships. Her academic contributions include numerous research publications in Scopus, ABDC, UGC-CARE, and other refereed journals, conference presentations at international and national forums, and book chapter contributions. She has also organized academic events, workshops, and conferences and has received recognition such as the Best Paper Award at the International Conference on Globalisation, Entrepreneurship and Emerging Economies held at the University of London in 2024
