Dr. Deb Dulal Halder is an Associate Professor in the Department of English at Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi, with teaching experience since 2000. He holds a Ph.D. from Gurukula Kangri University, Haridwar, with research focused on nineteenth-century Bengal and colonial sensibilities. His academic interests include 19th Century Literature of Bengal, Communication, Mass Communication, Popular Fiction, Literary Criticism and Theory, Translation, and Indian Writing.
He has delivered plenary lectures, keynote addresses, and invited talks at national and international conferences. He has published numerous research papers in peer-reviewed journals and has authored, co-authored, and edited multiple books in communication, translation studies, literary criticism, and English literature. He has also developed extensive academic e-content and study materials for various universities and distance education programs.

Dr. Deb Dulal Halder has been serving as Associate Professor in the Department of English at Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi since May 2001. He previously worked as an Ad hoc Lecturer at Rajdhani College, University of Delhi. He has also served in administrative roles including Teacher-in-Charge and Member of the Governing Body.
