Dr. Trilochan Nayak is a seasoned Management academic and institutional leader with over 20 years of teaching and administrative experience. He holds a Ph.D. in Management from Berhampur University (awarded on 4th January 2013) with the thesis titled “A Study on Dealer-Customer Interface in Selected Dairy Industries.” He also completed PGDBM (Marketing & HR) from Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar and a certification in e-Commerce from SSI Ltd., Bhubaneswar.
He is currently serving as Chairman cum Managing Director of Dr. TN International Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar, and as Honorary Director at the Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar. Previously, he worked as Professor and Director (Corporate Affairs) at Astha School of Management (affiliated to BPUT) from 5th September 2012 to 21st January 2023, Associate Professor at NMIET (2006–2012), Permanent Faculty in Marketing at BIITM (2003–2006), and Business Development Officer at SSI Ltd. (1995–1997).
His areas of teaching include Consumer Behaviour, Advertising Management, International Marketing, Strategic Management, Retail Management, and Sales & Distribution Management. He has guided more than 400 students for summer internship projects and chaired placement committees.
Dr. Nayak has published in Scopus-indexed and UGC CARE-listed journals, authored books including “Entrepreneurship and Innovation” (2025) and “Business Analytics: Concepts, Technique and Application” (2025), holds an approved patent titled “Cheating Detection Device using Artificial Intelligence (371922-001),” and serves as Editor on the Editorial Board of The Shiv Shakti International Journal in Multidisciplinary and Academic Research (SSIJMAR).
