Dr. Gurudev Sahil is a senior legal academician with over ten years of teaching and research experience in law. He is currently serving as Associate Professor at the School of Law, Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru, where he also functions as LLM Programme Coordinator, Ph.D. Guide, International Conference Convenor, and Editor of the DSU Law Journal. His academic career includes prior appointments at Symbiosis International (Deemed University), CHRIST (Deemed to be University), and GLA University, where he held significant leadership roles such as Deputy Director-in-Charge, Faculty In-Charge of Moot Court Associations, Head of Placement & Internship Committee, and Head of DQAC. In addition to academia, Dr. Sahil has substantial legal practice experience, having appeared before the Supreme Court of India, Delhi High Court, and District Courts. His scholarly work spans constitutional law, privacy and data protection, cyber law, technology regulation, environmental law, and socio-legal studies, with publications in Scopus and Web of Science indexed journals, books, edited volumes, patents, and copyrights.
